-> Prices are meant for digital illustrations only. If you wish to hire me for a traditional artwork, please contact me.
-> All prices are starting prices and act as an overview to my services.
-> They do not include commercial rights to the finished product.
Linework
The barebones of any illustration – refined and sharpened.
- Headshot: 30€
- Halfbody: 40€
- Fullbody: 50€
Flat Colours
Adds the colour palette of the character, ideal for reference sheets.
- Headshot: 35€
- Halfbody: 50€
- Fullbody: 60€
Simple Shading
Often called ‘cel-shading’.
Adds flat shadows and one or two light-sources.
- Headshot: 50€
- Halfbody: 70€
- Fullbody: 85€
Fully Rendered
Adds gradients for more detailed lighting, softened shadows and effects.
- Headshot: 65€
- Halfbody: 85€
- Fullbody: 100€
-> The same character several times can make for a reference sheet
-> Discount for additional characters only if parts of them are occluded
Stickers
Simplified character portraits for Telegram or personal uses.
Prices range from 15-20€ per sticker, depending on complexity.
Larger quantities of the same character may benefit from a discount:
>5pcs -> 5%
>10pcs -> 10%
>20pcs -> 20% and so on …
Paintings
Paintings require more effort and planning as the rendering process is different and they do not build up on clean linework.
Classic Painting (Digital)
Fully realized painting where every bit is laid down with a brushstroke.
I will make sure to get over every construction line and try to uphold the best-possible quality I can provide.
The character will be fully lit and integrated into their environment.
Given the long production time, these are also the priciest options I offer.
- Headshot: 80€
- Halfbody: 110€
- Fullbody: 150€
+ Backgrounds
- Single Colour / Transparent: + 0€
-> If you plan on keeping all focus on the character. Outlines e.g. for stickers are also included here. - Simple Pattern / Ambience: + 10-20€
-> Amplifies the emotion of the character or underlines pose dynamics and effects. - Props / generic structures: + 20-40€
-> If you want to add something that grounds your character in their setting e.g. the side of a building, chairs and tables or complicated accessories like weapons or other objects.
- Scenery: + 50-80€
-> Complex perspective with defined fore- middle- and background. I will try my best to uphold perspective consistency.
-> The style of the scenery depends on the style of the character, so prices may range accordingly.
Additional Cost
As previously mentioned, all the prices mark the baseline.
They should not vary too much but here are the main causes of an increased price.
- Complexity
-> Complexity of character can range from additional limbs like wings, arms or legs, detailed patterns, difficult character interactions or simply props like weapons and clothing. - Design
-> If you cannot provide a proper reference to your character or their outfit, I shall add a design fee to the commission.
-> Even merging two separate references can result in such a fee (although lower than if it would be realized from scratch).-> It is important that everything is discussed before payment and no further additions are implemented during the production phase.
- Additions
-> If you want to add detail shots of specific parts of your character, a Nametag with individual font or have other inquiries that are not listed anywhere here, we can discuss a price for that we both are comfortable with.
